From our tender youth we love animals, especially dogs...

Miro ako 8 - ročný, hladkajúci psíka od susedov.

Miro as a pupil, he stroked every dog on his way to school, and

shared his packed food. When he was 11 years old, he had his first

dog which was a Foxterrier Smooth Truxa. Then he was given a

Slovakian Hound with pedigree name Erina spod Kunovej when he

was 15 years old. He established his kennl called "Spod Hradovej"

at Christa Rojčianka in order to breed Bavarian Mountain

 Scenthound.

Christa won the first prize at the preparatory contest of hunting exams – 190 points. We loved her son Cero Spod Hradovej, which had been with us for 10 years. Cero gained the second prize at the preparatory contest of hunting exams. Miro bred in his kennel 4 litters of Bavarian Mountain Scenthound. We also spent a while with Bloodhound called Bajader Belohrad, which had the second prize at the preparatory contenst of hunting exams. All of these hunting dogs are necessary and useful for the sake of finding out injured animals in forest.

Sestry Stanislava, Janka a ja (z ľava) s našou vytúžnou kóliou Borginkou.

As for me, I started loving collie in my youth when my

sister Stanislava (kennel "Zelené Tuje") received her first

collie from our parents as a birthday present. Even today

I still remember vividly how she brought it embracing into

the room… Our first collie "Borgia Tamburín" was very nice

in her character – loyal and dear. I am firmly sure that she

understood not only our words but also what we're thinking.

I also loved our other collies: tricolor bitch called "Riccia ze Zlatého Lomu" and the sable one called "Golden Gwendy ze Zlaté Jalny". And at last, the blue-merle bitch called "Fantasy in Blue ze Zlaté Jalny". She was actually my favorite, but I could not take care so much because of my study in Bratislava.

Their puppies, their voices, smell and how we

took care of them – all of these things remind

me the best of the those days. It was also

the first time for me to have experienced the

 charm of dog shows.

When our Bajadera died in 2007, we returned to breed collies, which are truly created for children at home. As soon as we looked at the photo of Marinka, we did not hesitate even a minute. Marinka is a gold - sable bitch "Csóványospataki Máriya – Gold", imported from Hungary. When our family started taking care of her, we did not know that she would be the international champion in the future. The other dog joined to our family in 2008, is sable white - dog, imported from France "Discovered Dream du Clos de Seawind".

Marinka a Drim In 2008 we established our kennel called "Amnis Rhei". Amnis

means river or rapid forest brook, and rhei means flows. The

philosophical concept inspired us to name our kennel: “Panta

rhei” (everything flows) is the abbreviated interpretation of

Platon on the ancient philosopher Heraclitus. "Going up or not

going up to the same river, we are and we are not, for it is impossible for us to go into the same river".

The river symbolizes our time … It is indispensable for our

life to keep the river clean. Therefore, nobility of Collie

rough is our dream and our purpose.

These collies accompany us everywhere so that they bring

us a lot of having good time with family members or friends.
